We are thrilled to announce Scott Rehlander as the 2013 Elite Head Coach!
Scott brings a deep passion for the game and a modern, intentional approach to coaching in his role as head coach of the Jr. Falcons Elite team. With eight years of experience coaching AAA hockey at both the boys’ and girls’ levels, he is a committed student of the game who recognizes how dramatically hockey has evolved over the past 15 years. He believes young players must be prepared to compete in today’s faster, more intelligent game.
Scott played his youth hockey with Casco Bay Youth Hockey before completing a four-year varsity career at Bishop Fenwick High School in Peabody, Massachusetts. He continues to play today and values staying connected to the game from a player’s perspective. As a coach, he emphasizes purposeful development through game analysis and structured plans that address individual and team needs. Understanding that players learn in different ways, he blends on-ice repetitions with whiteboard teaching and video analysis. A graduate of Framingham State University with a B.S. in Computer Science, Scott brings a strong interest in leveraging technology to enhance learning and player development.
