We are thrilled to announce Kristin Ottariano as the U8 Girls Head Coach!
Kristin Ottariano brings elite hockey experience, strong leadership, and a deep commitment to youth development to the Jr. Falcons organization. A Framingham native, she lives in Waltham with her husband and their two daughters.
Kristin played collegiate hockey at Yale University, graduating in 2007 after serving as team captain and establishing herself as one of the most accomplished players in program history. She finished her career among the program’s all-time leaders in assists, points, and goals, earned ECAC All-Star and All-Rookie honors, and was a three-time ECAC All-Academic selection. She received the Yale Coaches Award, for grit, resilience, and dedication to her team, and the Hockey Humanitarian Award for exceptional leadership and service within the hockey community. In addition to Kristin's experience at Yale, she participated in USA Hockey’s National Development Program, playing with and against US Olympians. She is a graduate of Milton Academy, where she was a three-sport varsity athlete in hockey, field hockey, and lacrosse.
Off the ice, Kristin leads Superior Communication Services, a nationwide technology integration company specializing in network infrastructure, audio-visual systems, and security solutions. She also coaches numerous youth sports teams in Waltham and serves on the board of the Yale Hockey Alumni Association.
Kristin has been actively involved in Waltham Youth Hockey and currently coaches both the U8 Girls team and the in-house program. Kristin’s focus is on helping players build strong fundamentals, confidence, and a genuine love for the game. She emphasizes effort, teamwork, and personal growth, creating an environment where young athletes feel supported, challenged, and excited to improve. She is proud to be part of the Jr. Falcons’ inaugural season and looks forward to helping establish the girls program.
